  Rajamangala University of Technology Isan is 1 of 9 universities established under the Rajamangala University of Technology Act, B.E. 2005. There has been a structure of departments within the organization divided into 20 main departments with the approval of the Board of Directors divided into government sectors at that time in the part of Khon Kaen Campus agreed to consist of 3 main departments, the Khon Kaen Campus Office, Faculty of Technical Education, and Faculty of Engineering, by announcing it as the Ministerial Regulation of Education on the establishment of government agencies in Rajamangala University of Technology Isan dated November 14, 2006, which is regarded as the "Faculty of Technical Education" The Faculty of Technical Education at Rajamangala University of Technology Isan Khon Kaen Campus was officially established for the first time. The steps taken for the production of technician teachers in the later period of Rajamangala Institute of Technology, including the Faculty of Industrial Education at Rajamangala University of Technology Isan Khon Kaen Campus, which are carried out sequentially, are:

 

1975,  Thai-German Technical College Khon Kaen joined as part of the College of Technology and Vocational Education. On behalf of Khon Kaen Technical Campus, later changed to Khon Kaen Campus Open to teach vocational courses, vocational vocational. industrial.

 

1976,  a certificate program for high school teachers (Knoll-General) was offered as a one-year course. after a high school diploma, accepting graduates with high school diplomas in all fields of professions.

 

1982 to 1985, the Department of Vocational Education, at that time, realized the importance and necessity of industrial teachers and therefore assigned the College of Technology and Vocational Education to offer a certificate program for Secondary Industrial Technician teachers to recruit graduates to teach in technical colleges across the country. Khon Kaen Campus responsible for teaching courses. Certificate of Secondary School Teacher, Industrial Mechanic, Factory Mechanic, 5 batches (studying at the Mechanic Department).

 

1977–1992, Khon Kaen Campus provides scholarships to students with good grades studying for a bachelor's degree in both industrial education and engineering courses to return to campus as a teacher. They also provide scholarships to support teachers for studying for a master's degree or Ph.D., especially in the field of faculty of technical education and engineering, including preparation of equipment, and laboratory to open teaching courses at the degree level.

 

1988, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej conferred the name Rajamangala Institute of Technology. Originally operated under the name of the College of Technology and Vocational Education in academic year 1988, Khon Kaen Campus introduced the Bachelor of Industrial Education program of the Faculty of Engineering Technology, which was originally taught at Thewet Campus Bangkok. Come to teach as the first version in Khon Kaen by accepting diploma graduates to study for 2 years in 3 disciplines, with 10 students per subject, namely

-  Department of Industrial Technical Education

-  Department of Mechanical Technical Education

In later school years, degree programs have been offered in the departments of Civil Technical Education, Product Design Technology, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Electronic Engineering, Department of Computer Engineering, Bachelor of Industrial Technology, and Bachelor of Industrial Pipe Technology.

Offered Bachelor of Business Administration degree programs in 3 fields:
-  Bachelor of Business Administration Marketing (2001)
-  Bachelor of Business Administration Management (2003)
-  Bachelor of Business Administration Computer Information Systems (2004)

 2007

Another Bachelor of Business Administration degree program was opened, namely
-  Bachelor of Accounting course Accounting (later converted to Bachelor of Accounting course)

 2004

Offered a Bachelor of Arts degree program in 1 field of study, namely
-  Bachelor of Arts degree English for International Communication

   
 
  When the faculty was founded in 2006, it was not a completely new operation. Rather, it is the division of educational administration work of the existing campus to the faculty. At present, the Faculty of Industrial Education is responsible for arranging teaching programs at the level below the bachelor's degree (High Vocational Industrial Engineer) for a total of 9 courses; the industrial education degree level (Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education), industrial science (Bachelor of Industry) and Liberal Arts (Bachelor of Arts degree) for a total of 16 courses; the total number of students is 5,631 students and teachers-employees totaling 176 people using school buildings, gymnasiums, internships, and laboratories located within Rajamangala University of Technology Isan. Khon Kaen Campus includes school buildings and laboratories at the educational service area, Khok Si Sub-district, Mueang District, Khon Kaen Province, by the Office of the Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Education, located at Building 7, within the area of Rajamangala University of Technology Isan Khon Kaen Campus.
